What kind of training does a Chiropractor go through?

Chiropractic Physicians (also known as Chiropractors) are state board certified physicians. In order to become a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.), the candidate would take rigorous pre-med courses for four years. If after the gruling training, the student still wants to become a doctor, they can choose which area of the body they want to focus on (neuromuscular and skeletal = Chiropractic school, general and other specialities = Medical School, teeth/mouth = Dental School).

If Chiropractic Physicians want to develop further in their skillset, they can take a variety of post-graduate courses to focus on different techniques of manual manipulation. Our Founder has taken many post-graduate courses, read more about Dr. Richard R. Shaker, D.C.

We accept all major credit cards, cash, and most health insurances, Medicare, Medicare Advantage and VA CCN.

If you don’t have health insurance, please call or text us and we will find an affordable option for you. If you were in an auto accident and schedule your visit within 14 days of the incident, in most cases your treatments will be covered by PIP (Personal Injury Protection) insurance if you or the other party at fault in the state of Florida.
